History of Nazim Khan Union
The name Nazim Khan is named after Nazim Uddin Pathan. Nazim Uddin Pathan was a loyal soldier of King Jahangir. 
When Shahzada Khusru declared war against his father for the throne, Nazim Uddin Pathan, who was tired, 
at one point got shelter from Zamir Uddin Munsi, the zamindar of the area. He later won the hearts of the 
people of the area by his bravery, intelligence and honesty. Under his overall supervision, Manarkuthi, 
Sonalurkuthi white demons were freed with the help of famous people like Haiwat Pathan, Taiyab Pathan, 
Phul Pathan, Monidakua etc. He was named Nazim Khan at the behest of local dignitaries including Datta Mashai, 
Kazi Qutbuddin, Daldaliya Dervesh for his heroic activities and bravery.
